The Cleveland Sephardic Congregation welcomes people from many backgrounds. On any given week, you can find Sephardim from Morocco, Turkey, Syria, Iran, and other places, as well as Ashkenazic, Yemenite, and Italian Jews – our own kibutz galuyot.
Our minyan has been operating in its current form for the past four and a half years. We’ve built on the efforts of many individuals who worked hard to make sure that a Sephardic tefilla was available in town – originally for Yamim Noraim only, and then for Shabbatot throughout the year. We have been graciously hosted by a number of community institutions, and with our growth b’h the time has come for us to have our own space.
